|Tamieka Chavis – Timon
A DC area native, Tamieka Chavis is honored and excited to be in her third Off the Quill production with an amazing ensemble of talented actors! Some of Tamieka’s recent credits include Lady Montague/Paris’ Page in Romeo and Juliet(Chesapeake Shakespeare Company), Second Witch/et al in Macbeth (Chesapeake Shakespeare Company), Mother Earth in Mother Earth & Me (Smithsonian’s Discovery Theater), Mary Swanson in Middletown (NextStop Theatre), Rosie/Pam/Annie/Amanda in Love, Loss, and What I Wore (NextStop Theatre), Ruff the Dog in Stay Awake (Atlas’ Theater for the Very Young), Conner in Bones In Whispers (Longacre Lea), Lizzy in The Word and The Wasteland (Source Festival), Mother Courage in Mother Courage and Her Children (dog & pony dc), Joey in TOAST (dog & pony dc). TOURING: Madame CJ Walker in Lions of Industry, Women of Invention (Smithsonian’s Discovery Theater). Elise Berg is thrilled to be part of Timon 2016, for the joy and creativity of the production, plus the new mark on her Shakespeare canon checklist. In theatre since age 4, she is a current OTQ troupe member, having worked seven OTQ productions, both on and offstage.

|Michael Fowle – Lucilius, Isidore, Messenger
Michael Fowle, started acting at the bright young age of 7. He has performed in various plays and films in both the USA and Australia. Michael has continued to develop his craft through workshops and University training. He loves to challenge and move an audience or just makes them laugh.
|Boneza Hanchock – Alcibiades, Third Senator
Boneza Hanchock is an actor, Army Veteran, wife, foodie, and fur-mama originally from Bronx, New York. She has always had a passion for theatre and acting and at the tender age of 33 decided it was time to re-connect with her passion for performance, specifically, classical theatre, and started performing and learning stage craft at the Studio Theatre Conservatory among others. In the past 4 years she has appeared in various theatre productions in DC, Maryland, and Virginia and is beyond thrilled to make her Off the Quill and Capitol Fringe debut playing Alcibaides in Timon 2016. As an Army Veteran, this role and the relationships Alcibiades has with Hostilius, Timon, and the Senate along with her identity as a soldier, woman, partner, and conflicted leader hits close to home and hopes to bring to light many of the issues service members still face today. Previous roles include: Antigone Reflected (Antigone B), Julius Caesar (Portia) Tis Pity She’s a Whore (Philotus), The Rude Mechanicals, A Raisin in the Sun (Ruth Younger), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania), Macbeth (Witch No.2) Castaways Repertory Theatre, She Speaks (Various) The Flying Muskrats.
|Greg Jones Ellis – Sempronius, First Washingtonian
Recent performances: Mr. Andrews in Titanic (Guest Artist) at Theatre Lab; Mr. Lundie/Archie Beaton in Brigadoon at Compass Rose; and various roles at the Washington Stage Guild’s Reading Series. He also performed several voice-over roles in the Stage Guild’s production of In Praise of Love. Other notable appearances include: Ford’s Theater’s A Christmas Carol (four roles and understudy for Cratchit), as the Boatswain in HMS Pinafore with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players; Salisbury University’s Bobbi Biron Theater, in David Mamet’s Oleanna. Greg was a featured vocalist and choral member with jazz legend Max Roach’s American and European tours, appearing with the incomparable Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis. He can be heard on the double album To the Max! Greg is also author of the newly published comedy Divinity Place. He is a graduate of Catholic University’s Drama Department and holds an M.A. in English Literature from Salisbury University.
|Brian Moors – Lucullus, Hortensius, Second Washingtonian
Brian Harrington Moors has been performing with Off the Quill since its inception. A troupe member, Brian has appeared in six of the last seven shows with such roles as God in the Creation of the World and Other Business, the Player King (among others) in Hamlet, and one of the trio of performers in the The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised]. He thanks his loving wife Elise for her support, his puppy O’Gravy for snuggles, and all of you for coming.
|Jenna Murphy – Flavius
Jenna Murphy is happy to be appearing in her first Off the Quill and Capitol Fringe production. Jenna graduated from Drury Univeristy with a B.A. in Theatre. She is currently a teaching artist with Arena Stage. Some of her favorite roles include Abigail in The Crucible, Violet in Violet and Amalia in She Loves Me.
|Don Myers – Ventidius, Titus
Don Myers has done a stupid amount of improv in New York and LA. A recent graduate of the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, he has been seen as Lenny in Rumors, Dr. Givings in The Vibrator Play, and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
|Melissa B. Robinson – Hostilius, Caphis, First Senator
Melissa B. Robinson makes her Off the Quill debut with Timon 2016. A journalist, actor and author, Melissa directed Julia Starr’s The Long Way Around for the Women’s Voices Theatre Festival. Acting credits include Ambassador Theatre (The Trap); WSC Avant Bard (The Mistorical Hystery of Henry IV); The Highwood Theatre (Other Desert Cities); Pallas Theatre Collective (She Stoops to Conquer); Spooky Action Theatre (The Bison Beast of Dubois workshop production); and force/collision (The Nautical Yards). Melissa has studied at The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory, trains in modern dance at Joy of Motion and has worked in Maryland public schools as a teaching-artist with Shakespeare, Alive! Film & TV credits include ID’s Evil Kin (Ma Bender, “The Bloody Benders”) and the 2015 thriller Deviance. Next up: Thelma Cates in Marsha Norman’s Pulitzer Prize-winning `night Mother at Highwood.
|Sarah K. Scott – Lucilia, Varro, Timandra, Second Senator
Sarah is thrilled to be performing in her first show with Off the Quill! Originally from Texas, Sarah has had a lifelong passion for theatre, and in 2011, she graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance. Recent credits include Melody in Bad Jews, Sarah in Any Given Monday and Alice in Death by Design at Greenbelt Arts Center, Millicent in Nice Work If You Can Get It at The Highwood Theatre, Kelli in Masquerade and Pastor Charlotte in A Christmas Carol with Wolf Pack Theatre Company. By day, she is the Marketing Director at The Highwood Theatre in Silver Spring where she also serves as a Teaching Artist. Sarah has had a blast working with the amazing cast and crew of Timon 2016, and is extremely grateful for the love and support of her wonderful family and friends!
|Amy Treat – Servilius, Strata
Amy Treat is an actress, teacher and choreographer, who is thrilled to join talented cast and crew of Timon 2016. She currently teaches at The Center of the Arts at the Candy Factory in Manassas, VA. Amy has appeared on the ID channel show The Nightmare Next Door in a supporting role. She is also a host on the live streaming show The Square Circle with Arlington Public Media. She has appeared in numerous musicals and plays throughout the area.
